Grad School Update

I got accepted to the doctoral clinical psychology program at Palo Alto University.  I’ll be moving to the San Francisco Bay area at the end of August.  Fuck yeah!  I’m looking forward to this not only because I was impressed with the program when I went for an interview but because I’m tired of winter.  I’m also tired of Milwaukee, not as a city or for the people I love here but because of what it no longer offers.  Many good friends have moved away or I’ve drifted apart from the ones that are still here.  There just aren’t the opportunities that there were for me before.  The Bay Area offers more and I’ll gladly take it.
Oh and my thesis is starting to make progress finally thanks to my new thesis advisor and reader.  But the other thing is much cooler.  I’m glad I made some revisions to my thesis proposal today before I got the email otherwise I’d probably be worthless in regards to productivity.  We’ll see how tomorrow goes, I think I’m not too hyper and excited.
